Sample Sale!

Saper Law and Stitches Designer Roundtable Recap

On December 9th, Saper Law, along with the Stitches Fashion Program, held a Designer Roundtable as a forum for designers to share their goods and their thoughts. The discussion,led by Daliah Saper, of Saper Law, was centered around the mountain of issues entrepreneurs deal with when starting their businesses.

I am moving to a new studio space so, in honor of moving I am having a moving sale!!There will be tons of beautiful fabric in quantities ranging from 1 to 20 yards, all for dirt cheap!! And by that I mean, in the $1 to $3 range for stuff like Italian cotton, linen cotton blends, and lots of silks.

The studio is mere steps from the Brown line Western stop in Lincoln Square, and is easy to get to on the Lincoln, Western, and Lawrence buses.

In the Beginning There was the End

Saturday, December 13th, Annie Novotny of Frei Designs and various partners celebrate the theme "In the Beginning There Was the End," with a funeral-like Fashion Performance and Art Show. The celebratory funeral will be held at Happy Dog Gallery in Wicker Park where guests will view a fashion performance featuring Fall 09 looks from Frei Designs will be previewed as well as the work of local artists. Donations will be accepted at the door for the artists and performers.

What: A Celebratory "Funeral" including a Fashion Performance, Gallery display, Music, and More.
When: Saturday, December 13th. 8 PM Doors, 9 PM Fashion Performance.

Call for Designers: Fashion Indie Rocks

From Fashion Indie:

We are offering five designers the chance to showcase their collection during Fashion Indie Rocks, our one day fashion concert featuring some of our favorite bands. If you haven't figured out what your doing for fashion week make sure you're a part of this event.
